Tai Chi Exercises for Body Balancing and Energy

PULLING DOWN CHI FROM HEAVEN
Reach up as high as you can and pull the chi (white light), down through the top of your head. Hold your hands out on each side of your head by your eyes. (Palms not touching the body but facing the body.)

Next, reach up again with both hands, of course, and pull that chi down through your head and hold your hands next to your body (breast level)
Next, reach up again with both hands and pull that chi down through the top of your head and hold your hands out to the side of your body by the navel.

While you are holding the hands out to the side of your body (palms facing the body, but not touching the body,) you place your tongue on the roof of your mouth. You visualize the white light going down the front of your body, between your legs and up the back of your spine. It continues making that circle. You do this procedure from the very beginning of pulling down chi from heaven.

PULLING CHI FROM THE EARTH
You reach down to the earth and push that chi up through your legs into your body. You then spread your arms out to the sides of your body and out to the front of your body locking that chi all around you for protection.
